- 1 piece of butter dough
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Method of preparation:
Whisk the eggs, water and salt in a large bowl.
Dip the oiled dough in the mixture you beat and press lightly with your fingertips to absorb all the mixture and wait for 10 minutes.
Heat the pan on medium heat and add olive oil. Pour the mixture into the pan, shape with a spoon and cook for 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Slice the baked borek and serve hot, sprinkled with pepper and thyme if desired.
