ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of butter dough
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon blue poppy seeds (For the topping)

Method of preparation:

For the sauce, add tomato paste, water, olive oil and spices to a bowl and mix. You can keep it in the refrigerator for 1 hour to better transfer the aroma of the spices to the sauce.
Unroll the oiled dough on the table and apply the sauce on all sides of the half-oiled dough with the help of a brush. Fold the remaining half over it and lightly press it with your hand so that it sticks together.
Spread the sauce again on the top surface. If your dough is not very thin, you can turn it upside down and spread the sauce on the bottom surface as well.
Cut the dough into 4-5 cm squares and divide each square into two parts to form a triangle.
Arrange the prepared chips dough in a row on a greased tray, sprinkle poppy seeds on top if desired, and bake in an oven heated to 150 degrees until browned, dry and firm.
You can eat the chips when they are ready.
If you keep the lid open, you can keep it crispy for a long time.
