"Santa's hat" salad is an excellent choice for the New Year's menu. The Mir.az site offers a recipe for a salad that will please even the most children.

First, cook potatoes, eggs and chicken fillet (add salt while the chicken fillet is cooking).
Wrap the red pepper in aluminum foil and cook in the oven for half an hour. Then remove the foil, put the hot pepper in the pot and keep the lid closed for 10 minutes. Then carefully peel off the thin skin on the pepper and cut it into strips.
Peel the cucumber, chicken fillet, boiled and cooled potatoes and 2 eggs and cut them into cubes (put half of the egg through a grater to decorate the salad, and keep 1 whole). Finely chop half of the onion. Combine all the chopped ingredients, pour salt and mayonnaise on it and mix. Put the prepared salad on a plate in the form of a tall hemisphere and cover all sides with pepper strips in a circle.
Separate the egg white from the yolk. Add a little mayonnaise to an egg yolk, mix and form a ball. Dip the ball in egg white and place it in the middle of the salad. You can decorate the round edges of the salad with the grated egg white and serve.
