- 1 kilogram of chicken wings
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon red pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 3 cloves of garlic (grated/crushed)
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (to taste)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/3 cup of water
Method of preparation:
Wash the wings and place them in a colander to drain.
After filtering the water, add garlic powder, salt, pepper and red pepper powder and mix.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until the top is browned, but not too brown. Check if it is cooked after 20-30 minutes.
While the chicken is cooking, prepare the sauce.
Add the sauce ingredients to a small pot and cook until it boils and thickens. Meanwhile, the chicken wings will also be cooked.
Take the chicken wings out of the oven, dip them in the prepared sauce, put them back on the tray and cook them until golden.
Place on a serving plate, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
