ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of tomato paste
  • 3 tablespoons of pepper paste
  • 1.5 cups walnuts (finely ground)
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs (stale breadcrumbs optional)
  • 6 cloves of garlic (grated and crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper powder

Method of preparation:

Add ground walnuts, tomato and pepper paste, grated garlic, olive oil, breadcrumbs and spices to a bowl and mix.
Pour the mixture into a jar, add a little olive oil and store in the refrigerator.
You can use your ready-made ajika in food and enjoy it whenever you want.
You can also use ajika as an appetizer at guest tables.
