ingredients:

  • 320 gr of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 150 g of butter or margarine
  • 110 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 25-30 g of cinnamon

Method of preparation:

First, sift the flour and baking powder.
In a bowl, beat softened butter at room temperature, eggs and 1 pinch of salt well with a mixer. Add sifted flour and baking powder and knead the dough. It is not necessary to knead the dough too much, because if the dough warms up from the heat of your hands, the oil can separate from the other products. If the dough is too soft, you can wrap it in stretch cellophane and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Divide the kneaded dough into 2 equal parts. Wrap one part in stretch cellophane and set aside. Divide the other part into 5 parts, with 1 being the largest. Roll these 5 small parts separately into a 20 cm long sausage shape.
Sprinkle cinnamon on the counter and roll the sausage dough into the cinnamon. Roll out the large dough into a 20 x 14 rectangle and stack the smaller pieces on top of the rectangle. Roll the rectangular dough into a roulette shape by folding it over the small dough balls.
Sprinkle cinnamon on the counter and roll the dough that you prepared in the form of a roulette into the cinnamon thoroughly. Wrap tightly in stretch cellophane and place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
After 15 minutes, take it again and roll it so that the side on which it is placed is not flat. Prepare the other dough in the same way and place it in the refrigerator. Remove the dough from the refrigerator from the stretch cellophane and cut circles with a height of 8-9 mm. Arrange them on an oven tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake for 12-17 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
After cooking, you can serve it with tea and coffee.
